For years, the American people have been conditioned to view Peoples China as an enemy. From misinformation about the “Uyghur Genocide,” to blaming the COVID-19 Pandemic on a lab-leak in Wuhan, China, there is no shortage of anti-Chinese propaganda available in the United States today.
The reality is that the American government has targeted China not because of any human rights abuses or purported biological warfare. Instead, it intends to continue military escalations in the coming years in a desperate attempt to prevent the emergence of Peoples China as the new greatest world power.
It is not Peoples China which is the enemy of the American people. Rather, the US military-industrial complex is our greatest obstacle today. The $800 billion a year which is spent on the US war machine is money that could better serve Americans when invested in education, healthcare, housing, and job creation.
Do not be fooled by the scapegoating of Peoples China. China is not our enemy. By working against the American war-for-profit machine, we can build a better world for us and our neighbors abroad.
